"Goals"

I reach for the highest purpose in my work, confident of achieving my aspirations.

If I am feeling like I have not achieved the best that is in me, perhaps I am not reaching beyond my current capabilities in my job. I might fear setting higher aims, yet I have an inner sense that I can do more. I can move to higher objectives with divine assistance.

As I remember that there is a higher power than myself, I turn to God. I take a brief break in a moment of silent prayer, and ask for divine guidance to find new goals that expand my abilities. I listen and discover higher purposes for my work.

My career continues to open up when I aim higher and give new levels of service to everyone at work – my customers, my management, and other employees. I am grateful and happy.

”A good goal is like a strenuous exercise – it makes you stretch.” – Mary Kay Ash
